Admission Procedure
Admission into ODFeL programmes is in two modes.
1. Admission to the ODFeL programme through Change of course
This mode is open to those who applied for a full-time programme but wish to change the mode of study. Candidates must follow the guideline as stated in the notice for change of course and select ODFeL programmes.
2. Admission to the ODFeL programmes through the purchase of ODFeL form
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)has made it mandatory for candidates applying for admission to non-regular programmes in any tertiary institution in the country to do so through JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and be eligible for an Admission letter. Therefore, admission into any ODFeL programmes must follow JAMB regulations as follows:
- Visit any JAMB-accredited center to create a JAMB profile
- Apply for Distance Learning Admission on the JAMB portal to generate JAMB Registration Number
- Select Yaba College of Technology as the institution of choice
- Select your Course of preference
- Corrections of name(s) must be done before accessing JAMB portal for Distance Learning Admission/ Registration
- Name(s) on your O’Level results will be the Bench Mark for Registration
- Registration for CODFeL Admission on the JAMB portal is compulsory for all Open, Distance and Flexible e-Learning (ODFeL) candidates
PROCESSING OF APPLICATIONS ON THE COLLEGE PORTAL
- After the initial registration of the JAMB portal, applicants for any of the ODFeL programmes are to pay a processing fee, O’Level verification fee, and any transaction charges as stated on the college portal codfel.yabatech.edu.ng or yabatech.edu.ng.
- Payment can be made online or in the bank.
